Unique mix of styles, heavy doom/sludge riffs and a beautiful female voice.
Somnia track has an Alice in Chains vibe mixed with something darker and deeper, it won me over instantly. Great album ! Favorite track: Somnia.
Somnus has an enveloping sound that goes beyond the descriptor “heavy.” It’s reminiscent of other albums but stands on its own. The vocals are quite good, but the band is the highlight if you’re not fully on board with the vocal approach.
Favorite track: Oculus.
A cocktail of traditional doom and blistering sludge, post-metal grooves and psychedelia drones. Big riffs meet pounding beats with atmospheric passages that will lead you into a wild, heavy and psychedelic wonderland, while the bewitched chants by vocalist Kristien and guitarist Pieter’s harsh screams create a unique vocal contrast.

The gargantuan, gothic fuzziness reminds me of a less downtrodden Electric Wizard. A nice, behind-the-beat feel that's almost bouncy permeates the record. The throaty singing recalls Danzig a bit, and it flips me out that these Italians channel American and British vibes with such fluency. It's a fun record that scratches the itch for massively downtuned blues. fyeahmetal
